Rachel Voirin

I support adolescents, adults, couples, and families through the different stages of life.

My intention is to offer a safe, caring space where everyone feels welcome as they are, without judgement.

As a psychologist, what matters most to me is meeting you where you are. You don’t need to be “doing well” or “doing badly enough” to seek support, and you don’t need to find the perfect words. We work with what is present, at your pace, while respecting your needs and your boundaries.

I see the therapeutic relationship as, above all, a human encounter. A space of trust where you can bring what feels difficult, reflect together, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and gradually regain clarity and balance.

My approach

I adapt my support to your situation, your pace, and what you would like to change. My role is to offer a stable framework, attentive listening, and practical reference points to help you move forward.

A simple method, built with you

At the beginning of the process, we clarify together:

  • what brings you here today

  • what feels most heavy right now

  • what you would like to find again (calm, confidence, momentum, boundaries, balance)

We take time to understand what is happening: your emotions, your thoughts, your reactions, and the context of your life.

Then we choose a direction for our work, with realistic goals.

A clear framework

Sessions take place in strict confidentiality and professional secrecy, within the limits set by the law.

You can come with a specific request, or simply with the feeling that “something isn’t right”. We start there.

My background

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Fribourg, and I am recognised by the Swiss Federation of Psychologists (FSP).

During my training, I completed a Master’s internship in outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry at CHUV.This experience helped me develop strong clinical practice with children, adolescents, and their families. I also worked for two years in the adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit at CHUV (UHPA).

I have also trained in several complementary approaches and tools, including suicide prevention through the STOP Suicide training (“Supporting each other” workshop), cardiac coherence (CEPUSPP), and the person-centred approach (PCA). These trainings inform my practice and help me offer support that is structured, human, and respectful of each person’s pace..

My path reflects my wish to provide psychology that feels accessible, grounded in clinical practice, and attentive to each person’s uniqueness.
